The Weston Creek Walk-in Centre has reverted to a dedicated COVID-19 testing facility only, until further notice. Our staff have been working hard to manage demand, carrying out more than 3,500 tests since Friday at our two testing sites.
If you've been to Victoria, New South Wales or Queensland recently, you should check the COVID-19 website for exposure locations and follow the public health advice.
Drive through COVID-19 testing is available at Exhibition Park in Canberra (EPIC). You can also access free testing by appointment at YourGP@Crace and Lakeview Medical Practice in Tuggeranong on weekdays. Winnunga Nimmityjah Respiratory Clinic provides a culturally appropriate assessment and testing centre for First Nations people and existing clients of Winnunga.
For all other non-life threatening health needs, remember that our Walk-in Centres are free and open every day of the year from 7.30am to 10.00pm, including public holidays.
There’s no need to book an appointment – you can walk in and be seen in a very timely way by our highly skilled nursing staff. Walk-in Centres are co-located at the Community Health Centres in Gungahlin, Belconnen, Dickson, and Tuggeranong.
Remember, if you have cold or flu symptoms, you must have a COVID-19 test first (and receive a negative result) before getting treated at any of our Walk-in Centres.
