Taking time for checks during Women’s Health Week

It’s Women’s Health Week and we’re highlighting the importance of staying up to date with your health checks.

Women’s Health Week is observed in the second week of September each year. It’s an important reminder to set aside time for your health and wellbeing. For many of us, health checks have fallen off the radar these past two years.

So why not make an appointment with your GP or health professional and make sure you are up to date with all your health checks.

This handy diagram outlines regular health checks you can do to help to prevent and detect diseases early, often when they can be more easily treated.

This information is provided as a general guide. Depending on your family history or ethnicity, you may need other or more frequent checks.

If you notice anything unusual or concerning with your body, don’t delay – speak to your GP or health professional.
