New service for people with eating disorders in the ACT

A new centralised service, the ACT Eating Disorders Clinical Hub, provides easier access and expanded treatment options for people on the spectrum of eating disorders.

A new centralised service, the ACT Eating Disorders Clinical Hub, provides easier access and expanded treatment options for people on the spectrum of eating disorders.

The Hub is a new service offering for the ACT and provides a single point of entry for ACT residents who require assistance with disordered eating behaviours or an eating disorder. The Hub also brings together resources and expertise to provide and support a range of coordinated eating disorder services in the ACT to enable timely access to care.

A streamlined referral point makes it easier for individuals and health professionals to refer people with eating disorders for the personalised care they need.

The Hub also provides advice, support and training for people and clinicians working with people with eating disorders.

Anyone can contact the Hub to refer themselves or someone else with an eating disorder. For more information visit: www.health.act.gov.au/eating-disorders-clinical-hub
