Welcome to the University of Canberra Hospital.
Our commitment to providing high-quality and person-centred care ensures your stay is as comfortable as possible.
The University of Canberra Hospital (UCH) is a dedicated and purpose-built rehabilitation facility. We provide care and support for people over the age of 18 who are experiencing mental illness or recovering from surgery, illness or injury. You must have a referral to attend UCH.
Our rehabilitation centre is the largest in the ACT and surrounding region, with 140 inpatient beds, 75-day places and additional outpatient services.
As we are a rehabilitation facility, we don’t have an Emergency Department and do not perform surgical operations.
Please call 000 or go directly to the Emergency Department at the Calvary Public Hospital or Canberra Hospital if you need emergency care.
The Crisis Assessment and Treatment Team (CATT) provides a 24-hour, seven day a week service used for assessment and treatment of mentally ill people in crisis situations.
