Rostering

The Medical Officer Support, Credentialing, Employment and Training Unit (MOSCETU) is responsible for preparing all Junior Medical Officer (JMO) rosters at Canberra Hospital and Health Services (CHHS). This excludes the Emergency Department, Intensive Care Unit and Retrieval. Our roster team provides roster and leave management, as well JMO financial administration for interns, Resident Medical Officers (RMO) and Registrars across CHHS.

Shifts vary in length, depending on the time of day and type of shift. Rosters are written to ensure compliance with the ACT Health Medical Enterprise Agreement and the Australian Medical Association’s (AMA) Best Practice in Rostering.

Please discuss any concerns or difficulties you experience on the ward with your Unit Director, the Director of Prevocational Education and Training or your Roster Manager, this includes workload issues.
