We use a range of techniques to help you recover from your mental health condition.
The Recovery Star Model helps you measure your recovery progress within 10 areas of your life.
These include managing mental health, physical health and self-care, living skills, social networks, work, relationships, addictive behaviour, responsibilities, identity and self esteem and trust and hope.
You are also required to identify recovery goals, as part of your Recovery Care Plan. This plan is developed in collaboration with your rehabilitation team and significant others to help you establish psychological, emotional and daily activity skills.
Your Recovery Care Plan also identifies tailored groups and interventions, as well as various social activities to encourage you to participate in community engagement.
We also hold regular Collaborative Recovery Review meetings with you and your support network to review your progress and ensure all recovery goals, treatment and discharge planning dates are achievable and effective.
