The following 6 licence varieties are available under a Medicines, Poisons and Therapeutic Goods Licence form:
- First-aid kit licence
This licence may be required by registered nurses or ambulance paramedics to deal with scheduled medicines in administering first-aid to the community as part of their occupation.
- Research and Education program licence
This licence may authorise a person and their supervisor to deal with scheduled medicines as part of an academic program or research project.
- Medicines wholesalers licence
This licence may authorise a person to sell a licensed medicine by wholesale.
- Pharmacy medicines rural communities licence
This licence allows authorised persons to obtain, possess and sell licensed medicines to enable access to pharmacy products in rural and remote areas.
- Dangerous poisons manufacturers licence
This licence authorises a person to manufacture, possess and sell by wholesale an approved dangerous poison.
- Dangerous poisons suppliers licence
This licence authorises a person to obtain, possess and sell a licensed dangerous poison by purchase order.
