Health Professional Level 3 Personal Upgrade Scheme

The Health Professional Level 3 (HP3) Personal Upgrade Scheme for the Recognition of Excellence, recognises and rewards eligible ACT Public Sector (ACTPS) and Calvary Public Hospital Bruce (CPHB) HP3.3 employees who perform ‘over and above’ the standard expected of their role.

A Personal Upgrade is awarded in accordance with the current ACT Public Sector Health Professional Enterprise Agreement and entitles the successful employee with advancement to a higher increment level within the HP3 salary range on an ongoing basis.

Referees and Supervisors

Applicants will nominate one supervisor to support their application and two referees (one for each criterion). Each supervisor/referee will be sent an automated email with the application including the response to criteria and attachments: evidence, position description, payroll service letter. The email will also have a link to the Scheme Guidelines and a link to a form for the referee/ supervisor to complete. Once the form is completed and submitted both the applicant and the Scheme Secretariat will receive an automated email to confirm.

Saving and accessing your application

Applicants may save a partial application and return to it at another time as long as it is via the same computer and within 180 days. If you have any trouble accessing your partial application please send your name and email address to onlineanddesign@act.gov.au or contact your Scheme Secretariat who can support you to access your draft. Please note that your application draft may not be saved if you login using Imprivata or if you use the Internet Explorer web browser.

Your completed application will be automatically sent to your agency Scheme Secretariat.

If you cannot access a drafted application online please contact  onlineanddesign@act.gov.au for assistance.

If you have difficulty completing the online application please contact and discuss with your agency secretariat. There is a hard copy application form at Appendix 3 of the Guidelines, referee report templates at Appendix 4 and 5 and a supervisor statement at Appendix 6.
