The PREP program at the Canberra Hospital is a RACP Level 3 accredited training program that provides quality clinical training and education.
The hospital runs an intensive education program to help you prepare for Fellowship examinations, as well as access to the RACP Victorian video-conferencing program, daily teaching morning handovers and intensive clinical examination preparation courses.
You also have access to sub-specialty rotations to help you complete your training requirements. Mentors are available to provide support to you during this time and in lead up to your FRACP Part II examinations.
The Canberra Hospital is also proud to host the Canberra Course for Physicians Trainees that aims to teach you important tools to help you pass your examinations and obtain the necessary skills for your area of specialist training.
After you finish the PREP training program, you have access to advanced training in all medical sub-specialties to allow you to continue your professional development at the hospital.
Each rotation gives you access to teaching sessions, clinical meetings, tutorials, teaching ward rounds, outpatient clinics and extensive research opportunities.
