Graduate program

The Allied Health Graduate Program is available to all newly qualified allied health graduates at ACT Health and Calvary Health Care ACT.

The program aims to:

  • increase new graduate staff capability through collaboration and learning with fellow health professionals
  • build on individual health profession training and offer extra learning opportunities in an inter-professional environment
  • help new graduates connect with each other for additional support during transition into a qualified health practitioner

The program consists of 6 modules that are run each fortnight while the program is in session. The program runs twice a year.

For further program information, please contact the coordinator at ChiefAlliedHealth Office@act.gov.au or call (02) 6205 0893.

Inter-professional Graduate Program

Participants of the Allied Health Graduate Program are also encouraged to attend the Inter-Professional Graduate Program. This program offers inter-professional discussion and networking opportunities with fellow graduates from medicine, nursing and midwifery.

This program consists of two sessions per year.
