ACT Nutrition Support Service
Delivered by Nutrition Australia ACT, ACT Nutrition Support Service (ACTNSS) is your one-stop-shop for free nutrition advice and support for all schools and canteens in the ACT. The ACTNSS provides Fresh Tastes schools with a range of nutrition resources including fact sheets, healthy recipes, and menu planning ideas specifically for ACT School canteens. ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations
The ACT Council of Parents & Citizens Associations is the peak body of ACT public school Parents and Citizens Associations (P&Cs). They promote the interests of parents and other school community members to government and help P&Cs to operate effectively. The Council supports P&C canteens working with Fresh Tastes. Healthy Kids Association
Healthy Kids Association: The Healthy Kids Association (HKA) is a non-profit, non-government health promotion charity. They promote and influence healthy food choices for children, and support school canteens to make the healthiest choices possible. Nutrition Australia ACT
Nutrition Australia ACT is a not-for-profit, non-government, community-based organisation and a division of one of Australia’s peak nutrition education bodies. Qualified health professionals and educators provide a range of nutrition advisory services for ACT schools. Association of Parents and Friends of ACT Schools Inc. (APFACTS)
APFACTS is the peak non-government school parent voice for the ACT, built by parents for parents to have an active voice in education issues. APFACTS represents the interests of its membership though engagement with government and key stakeholder groups, as well as keeping its membership informed on the latest and emerging education issues. Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden Foundation
Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden provides inspiration, information, training and support to primary schools across Australia so students can grow and cook fresh food from their school kitchen garden as part of classroom activities. Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden provides a package of support exclusive to Fresh Tastes schools that includes professional learning, curriculum resources and various membership benefits. Greening Australia
Greening Australia are working to create healthy, productive landscapes across Australia where people and nature can thrive. They help Fresh Tastes schools to set up bush tucker gardens, by supplying edible bush tucker plants, educating teachers and students about their use and planting them with students. Smash Enterprises
Smash Enterprises: Smash have donated Nude Food Movers products to schools involved in Fresh Tastes to use for demonstrations, displays and prizes for 'Nude Food Day' competitions. Rodney's Plants Plus
Rodney’s Plants Plus is a local garden centre that provides Canberrans with gardening supplies and advice about how to design and maintain their gardens.
