CHARM is the premier conference for the communication and translation of health related research practice in the ACT. The conference explores challenges, opportunities and discoveries in health and medical research in the region and provides opportunity for showcasing research, networking, collaboration and capacity building for researchers and clinicians in the ACT and beyond.
CHARM is an annual event held in collaboration with ACT Health, Heart Foundation ACT, University of Canberra, University of New South Wales Canberra, and the Australian Catholic University, the Australian Institute of Sport and The Australian National University.

Day 1: Heart Foundation Research Day
An exciting new addition to the CHARM program focused on the latest in cardiovascular health research.
Day 2: Managing Chronic Conditions – the future is now
Invited speakers from across Australia will present research in personalised medicine, clinical trials, biomedical instrumentation and evidence based healthcare strategies for our ageing population.
Day 3: ACT Research in Focus
Starting with the 3 Minute Thesis competition, day 3 will showcase key health research projects from across the region, featuring local abstract presentations.
Posters will be on display throughout the week, with the poster viewing event on the evening of day 2.
The meeting will be officially closed at the Awards Dinner on day 3.
