National Partnership Agreement (NPA)

The ACT is signatory to a number of National Partnership Agreements (NPA). All governments who signed up to NPAs are accountable to the community for their progress against the agreed outcomes.

ACT Health provides here the different progress reports as required under the different health related National Partnership Agreements.

Background

In November 2008, the Council of Australian Governments (COAG) agreed to a new framework for federal financial relations.

The Commonwealth's financial support can be provided through the National Partnership - to support the delivery of specified outputs or projects, to facilitate reforms or reward those jurisdictions that deliver on nationally significant reforms.
