In response to a motion passed by the Australian Capital Territorys Legislative Assembly on 25 September 2002, the ACT Health Protection Service was asked by the ACT Government to undertake an analysis of air quality in workplaces where the exemption system under the ACT Smoke-free Areas (Enclosed Public Places) Act 1994 is in place.
