Need an interpreter?

ACT Health Directorate offers professional and accredited interpreting and translating services through the national Translating and Interpreting Service (TIS). This is a free service.

It’s important to have health information checked by an accredited interpreter in emergency situations. This will ensure the information you receive is interpreted correctly and you have access to the care you need.

For help from an interpreter, please call the free TIS on 13 14 50.

The National Interpreter Symbol helps you identify places that offer language assistance. You can also use the symbol to show you need language help.
