Student Use of Government Cars
Students and trainees while on placement with ACT Health should not drive government cars.
The only exemptions are:
- Where the safety of the student/trainee may be compromised if they use a private car or taxi.
- Where the course objectives require a student/trainee to undertake clinical placement activities with minimal direct supervision. This is applicable to final year students only.
- To facilitate cross-campus mobility in a timely manner, enabling a community based and multi-site care delivery model.
