About Personal Classification Level 2
Personal Classification Level 2 provides a career advancement opportunity for ACT Health Directorate (including Calvary Health Care - Public) Level 1 RN/M's who are permanently employed, to be advanced to Level 2 based on their knowledge, skills and attributes. Applicants may apply through a generic process.
Advancement to Personal Classification is through a written application and interview process to an Assessment Panel made up of ACT Health Directorate Clinical Registered Nurses and Midwives. Four Advancement Rounds per year are offered.
Applicants may submit an application at any time to the Career Advancement Coordinator (address below) for inclusion in the next scheduled Advancement Round. Applicants not advanced in previous rounds may reapply.
The five domains of Level 2 practice is a tool that guides you when completing your application for Personal Classification Level 2 or during your performance appraisal as a RN/RM2.

The 2013 closing dates for ACT Health Directorate Personal Classification applications are:
- Round 1 - 22nd February 2013
- Round 2 - 24th May 2013
- Round 3 - 30th August 2013
- Round 4 - 22nd November 2013
