ALLIED HEALTH POSTGRADUATE SCHOLARSHIP SCHEME
This initiative provides allied health postgraduate scholarships in various fields, particularly where workforce shortages have been identified.
ACT Government Health Directorate and Calvary Health Care ACT allied health professionals employees who have been permanently employed for at least 12 months or eligible allied health professional staff who have been employed on a temporary contract for a period of at least 12 months at the time of application AND who hold a relevant Allied Health Professional degree or equivalent AND who have a minimum one year full-time equivalent postgraduate clinical experience, for the specific purpose of undertaking study for one academic year towards either a masters degree, postgraduate certificate, postgraduate diploma or an allied health degree conversion course of study with a focus on clinical, education, research or leadership/management.

Applications for the 2013 academic year opened Monday 3rd December 2012 and will close 5.00pm Tuesday 2nd April 2013.

Scholarships and funding available
There is one category of scholarship available-POSTGRADUATE COURSE SCHOLARSHIP; the scholarship pays tuition fees by reimbursement for one academic year only and the capacity of the Scheme to pay the full fee amount varies from year to year, subject to the number of approved applicants and budget resources.
