Ophthalmology Unit

The Department of Ophthalmology at Canberra Hospital offers retinal, corneal and emergency services.  The unit conducts appointments in the Outpatient Department through referrals only.  Patients can have their optometrist or General practitioner make the necessary arrangements.

We do not offer general clinics at this time, for conditions such as cataracts or glaucoma.  Your general practitioner will need to refer you to a private ophthalmologist for general ophthalmic care.
