Let's Talk - For Suicide Prevention
Let’s Talk for Suicide Prevention is an ACT Health initiative that encourages the community to get connected through talking and supporting individuals who might be feeling suicidal and those who have lost someone to suicide. Raising awareness about suicide prevention is vital to help save lives, and to inspire and empower Canberrans to meaningfully connect with people around them who might be doing it tough.
Let's Talk Funding Grants
ACT Health have decided to use this year’s Let’s Talk Suicide Prevention Funding to establish a community grants program. These community Let’s Talk Funding Grants will support local groups and organisations to conduct suicide prevention and awareness programs, events, activities and communication initiatives.
The aim of the Let’s Talk Funding Grants is to develop new innovative suicide prevention and awareness projects which are developed in line with best practice principles and the Black Dog Institute’s Lifespan Suicide Prevention Strategies.
Total funding for the Let’s Talk Funding Grants is $50,000 (GST Exclusive). Single funding applications should be for either $10,000 or $20,000 (GST Exclusive).
