Outpatient Services

Outpatient Services (Ambulatory Care) includes all health services provided without the need for admission to hospital

A wide range of services are offered in Ambulatory Care settings including assessment and follow up appointments which allow clients to better manage acute and chronic conditions while reducing the reliance on hospitals

Services are provided across a number of locations including Community Health Centres, at Canberra Hospital, in regional centres and in the home.

All ACT Health facilities are completely smoke free. All patients, visitors and staff are required to remain smoke free when visiting any ACT Health facility. Security officers will enforce the smoke free environment. Support is available to help smokers to stay smoke free during their visit to ACT Health facilities. Next bookable appointment / Outpatient wait times

  • Last updated on 1 December 2014 the ‘wait times’ describe wait time to the next routine appointments available for bookings
  • Patients requiring Urgent appointments are likely to be offered earlier appointments than the wait times indicated
