Many of our pathologists also have appointments with the The ANU Medical School, and we have close interrelationships with the John Curtin School of Medical Research - both part of the Australian National University.
A pathology service committed to excellence
We're committed to providing first-rate pathology services to the Canberra Hospital, Calvary Hospital, NCPH hospital, the local community and the region.
ACT Pathology employs highly qualified and experienced staff, with Pathologists and Scientific officers covering all the Pathology disciplines. Our Phlebotomy staff are experienced in blood collection techniques for adults, newborns and children. Our support staff are dedicated in their areas.
Diagnostic services are provided from two accredited laboratories. ACT Pathology has a dedicated courier service for the collection of specimens and delivery of reports throughout Canberra. Specimens are referred to other major hospitals around Australia for specialised testing for tests not performed at ACT Pathology laboratories.
