Early Childhood Professionals

The ACT Government and the Heart Foundation have developed Kids at Play. The goal of the program is for children to decrease their chances of being overweight later in life by being more active and eating good foods.
How can Kids at Play help my early childhood service?
The Kids at Play program has a number of resources to offer. These include:
- Factsheets
- Posters
- A Kids at Play manual
- Physical activity and nutrition policy templates
- The Kids at Play website
- A capacity building program
Kids at Play is mobile!
Another unique feature of Kids at Play is the fleet of activity program vans.
These colourful and eye-catching vans are stocked with fun, safe play equipment. They are staffed by qualified play co-ordinators who deliver the Kids at Play program to early childhood centres.
The Kids at Play Activity Program is a free service for community organisations. Government organisations pay a fee for service.
