It's Your Move
It’s Your Move (IYM) enables high school students to develop creative solutions to improving school health, using a ‘systems approach’ and a problem solving approach called design thinking. IYM is delivered by ACT Health in partnership with the ACT Education Directorate and contributes to the ACT Government Healthy Weight Initiative.
IYM started in 2012 as a pilot with three local high schools. Those schools achieved strong results through innovative changes which made it easier for students and teachers to be healthier. The evaluation report is available here.
IYM is a partnership between ACT Health and the ACT Education Directorate. IYM is part of a suite of ACT Health, Healthy Children’s programs and is part of the ACT Government Healthy Weight Initiative, supporting a healthy, active and productive community.
