Adult Healthy Weight Service

This free nutrition program for ACT residents promotes a
non-dieting approach for achieving and maintaining a healthy weight.

Practical help is provided on changing your diet, being aware of your hunger and being physically active. A dietitian, social worker, physiotherapist or exercise professional will help you make changes.

The program is held at health centres across Canberra. It involves 4 times 2 half hour weekly group sessions and optional on-going support. On-going support is offered through individual appointments, and group sessions.

Next Course

2013 sessions will be held at Belconnen, City and Phillip Health Centres.
One men's only group will be conducted in May and June 2013.
