The Office of the Allied Health Adviser (OAHA) provides high-level policy advice to Government, and develops as well as implements, policy relating to allied health professionals and their practices. It also provides leadership to the allied health workforce.
Communication and leadership
The OAHA offers a focal point for communication and professional leadership in relation to contemporary allied health practice and supports innovation and best practice.
The OAHA team works with key stakeholders to develop data sources that inform policy. Our goal is a viable Allied Health workforce responsive to individual, community and population health needs.
