As part of the implementation of Activity Based Funding under the National Health Reform Agreement, ACT Health has developed an Administration of Hospital Admissions and Discharges policy and an associated Admitted Patient Activity Data Standards document. The policy and the attached data standards provide a set of detailed clear rules and criteria to count, record and classify public hospital activity in a timely manner.

Alcohol And Other Drugs (aod) - Act Health Responding To Use Of Non-Prescription Alcohol And Other Drugs (aod)

The use or supply of Alcohol and/or Other Drugs (AOD), which have not been prescribed as clinical treatment, is not permitted by consumers, visitors or staff within ACT Health facilities. ACT Health takes a harm minimisation approach to AOD use and fully supports consumers who have a history of AOD dependence, through the course of their hospital admission, by establishing an individualised clinical treatment plan appropriate to their specific needs.

Allied Health Professionals Act Standards Of Practice

The non-clinical Standards of Practice for ACT Allied Health Professionals, which include Continuing Professional Development (CPD) requirements, have been developed to support the operation of the Health Professionals Act 2004.
