9th National Seclusion & Restraint Reduction Forum
28th-29th November, 2013
Shine Dome, Acton
One of the core functions of the Safety and Quality Partnership Standing Committee (SQPSC) is the allocation of and support to jurisdictions to hold an annual national seclusion and restraint reduction forum.
National seclusion and restraint reduction forums provide a networking opportunity for mental health staff with an interest in reducing seclusion and restraint across Australia and maintain momentum in the changing of culture and practice.
The ACT will host the 2013 Forum in Canberra. The theme of this year's Forum is 'Reducing the trauma with least restrictive practice: Why it matters to walk the talk.'
Registrations for the forum have closed, however the forum will be web-streamed live and available on demand for 12 months after the forum.
