Medical Officers intending to apply for ACT Health positions must be eligible for full registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Successful applicants will receive salary packaging with Public Benevolent Institution (PBI) Fringe Benefit Tax (FBT) concessions, generous superannuation, four weeks annual leave and an accrued day off per calendar month. ACT Health will consider applications from candidates pursuing part-time or job sharing arrangements.

GP Development Fund
The GP Development Fund is a four year bi-annual grants pool totalling $4 million for general practices that commit to supporting the attraction, retention and development of the general practice workforce.
The GP Taskforce has been charged with the responsibility of investigating options and innovations for improving access to primary health care in the ACT and reporting back to the ACT Legislative Assembly in September 2009 with its recommendations.
